Hero Games, the publisher of Punishing: Gray Raven in Japan, has announced a Technical Test Recruitment for their upcoming game, Duet Night Abyss.
The developers announced the recruitment news on X/Twitter, notifying players of the upcoming Technical Test.

Recruitment period for the Technical Test will start from 12 pm, 15th March 2024 until 23:59 pm, 22nd March 2024. Players who are interested in joining the test can participate in two ways.
Method 1 – Fill Recruitment Questionnaire
Players can fill out a recruitment questionnaire here. The development team will then select qualified participants from the questionnaires to participate in the Technical Test.
Method 2 – Participate in the “An Invitation from the Demonic Lunarian” Web Event
By completing event quests and participating in the web event, players will get a chance to obtain the ‘Technical Test Ticket’ from the prize pool, which will automatically make them eligible for the test. Players can also potentially get game merchandise through the event as well.
According to the FAQ, players will be able to experience parts of the main story, meet several characters, and take part in some explorations and battles during the test. Furthermore, only the female Phoxhunter (starting character) can be chosen in this version.
It’s also worth noting that you cannot change the device you play the test on during the Technical Test, so players are advised to register with the device they are most likely to use.
