The termination will take effect on April 26th, 2023 with servers to be accessible until the mentioned date.

In addition, they have also announced several updates to come into the game before its end which includes the following:
- Special Login Bonuses rewarding 3,000 Blue Gems every day
- New special missions to obtain mission points that can be exchanged for 4 Star Weapon, Armour and Souls
- Addition of new chapters to Dragon Tracks and the Final Chapter for Bonding Journey
- Quality of Life updates such as increase in exchange cap limit and skip tickets for Hall of Perdition.
Based on AppMagic, the game has garnered over 19 million USD in terms of revenue with Japan being its biggest contributor. It peaked during a month later since its release at above 4 million USD but has since been on a decline.
A new Dragon Quest mobile game is also in the works that is releasing this year, so it could be one of the factors leading to its end of service.
As of current, there is still one more Dragon Quest game that you can play aside from the new one, which is Dragon Quest Tact, available for Android and iOS.
