According to Square Enix, since the launch of Dragon Quest Rivals on 2 November 2017, the game has been downloaded over seven million times. To commemorate the milestone, Square Enix announced that it will be handing out a total of seven “Standard Pack Tickets” to players who log in between 7 November 20177 at 14:00 JST and 14 November 2017 at 3:59 JST.
Dragon Quest Rivals, is Square Enix’s take on the combat card game genre for Android and iOS. Similar to Shadowverse, the game features leader characters, each of a different archetype, on top of card characters. It is too early to tell how well Dragon Quest Rivals will fare for the time being, since for now it is banking on the popularity of the franchise to carry it through. Still, that many downloads is quite an achievement nonetheless.
