Bandai Namco Entertainment’s upcoming Dragon Ball game for mobile – Dragon Ball Legends has recently done with their closed beta test. Unfortunately, we are not lucky enough to get a slot in CBT but as the official website are updated with a bunch of new details, we are here to introduce you the story, new characters and system of Dragon Ball Legends!
With the chaos of the Tournament of Power behind them, life went on for the inhabitants of Universe 7. But their peace was short-lived… Fighters from across the ages were soon drawn together for a timeline-splicing battle royale! Goku fought his way past one fierce foe after another, until a mysterious figure appeared before him… A Saiyan boy, dressed like none he had ever seen before…
Shallot (voiced by Kenji Akabane)
The hero of the story and a Saiyan from the distant past flung into the present day. He has lost all memories apart from his own name.
Zahha (voiced by Ryōtarō Okiayu)
A magic swordsman who was sent here by the space-time confusion. Despite his icy demeanour, he steps in to aid our hero.
Hooded Man (voiced by Kenji Nojima)
A mysterious man in a hood wreaking havoc across the lands. He seems to resemble Shallot…
Dragon Ball Legends is an action card battle game that brings all the legendary fighters of the Dragon Ball world together at your fingertips. You only need one finger to control the battle as shown below:
Here is how you can trigger the special move – Rising Rush:
- Some Arts Cards come with a Dragon Ball attached, after gathering all the seven Dragon Balls, a Rising Rush button will appear that allows you to activate the special move.
- After activating the Rising Rush, you can choose one of the 4 Arts Cards in your hand to deal massive damage and finish your opponent. You can even land an explosive victory with combined special moves if you are successful!
There is no news regarding the official release date for now, but since the CBT is done, we can expect the game to go live in a few months. Dragon Ball Legends is still up for pre-register with 3 million pre-registrations achieved, go sign it up now if you haven’t done so!
