Dot Heroes launched by Bandai Namco for smartphones

Bandai Namco has just released Dot Heroes, its latest smartphone title. It is an interesting crating and trading card hybrid which allows players to develop their own unique characters.

By using special cards with a 19 x 19 grid, players will be able to transform their heroes into 3D models. Colours used for the hero design will determine their element. The combat uses a traditional rock paper scissors mechanism, meaning you will have to assemble your team carefully to avoid being disadvantaged elementally.

In combat mode, players will be able to activate an assortment of battles gears equipped. These act as skills that can dish out damage to enemies.
