For those who are new to Dissidia, it is an arena battle fighting game with heroes and villains taken from every installment of Square Enix’s popular RPG series. It has a unique fighting system that sets itself apart from the rest and was one of the first to really explore the “mash-up” concept.
Opera Omnia, however, isn’t a fighting game but a F2P social RPG instead. The trailer shows similar stylish special moves like the main Dissidia games, but so far we can’t tell what will make the game more special than the other Final Fantasy mash-ups. It’s unclear whether it will be releasing in countries outside of Japan, but we’ll keep you updated.
