The ASEAN Digital Content Summit 2025 just announced the winners for the Digital Content Awards Ceremony, highlighting outstanding creative works from Malaysia’s digital content industry. The Malaysia Animation Film Festival (MAFF) recognized 15 exceptional works through its Special Selection Recognition Ceremony. These works were chosen from a large number of submissions, showcasing the growing talent in Malaysia’s creative sector.

- Gold Winner: Follow the Line – Ani4 | National Yunlin University of Science and Technology
From the 15 selected works, three productions received top honors at the 27th DigiCon6 ASIA competition. The Gold Winner will now represent Malaysia in the Grand Prix Awards competition. The awards ceremony demonstrates the active participation of both independent studios and academic institutions in Malaysia’s digital content creation landscape, highlighting the diversity of creative voices in the country’s industry. Educational institutions were well represented in the awards, showing the strong connection between academic programs and professional creative work in the digital content sector.

The DigiCon6 ASIA Awards is an annual digital content competition organized by Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc. (TBS Japan) that welcomes participation from throughout Asia. Regional contests are organized by regional partners, with winners from each regional contest eligible to compete for the Grand Prix Awards.
