Bandai Namco and developer Media.Vision is set to release a playable demo for Digimon Story Time Stranger which will be available for download before the full game launches. The confirmation comes from producer Ryosuke Hara in a recent interview with Gamersky, where he stated that fans can expect the demo to arrive soon. This news was also backed up by 4Gamer.net’s preview coverage of the game, which mentioned that a demo is in the works.

The demo will give players an early taste of what’s to come in the latest entry of the Digimon Story series. Based on our recent preview, the game features several new systems including the DigiAttack mechanic, which lets players defeat single enemy Digimon instantly without entering full battle mode. The combat system builds on the series’ traditional rock-paper-scissors attribute system while adding new elements like Mode Change battles and Cross-Arts abilities.
Players will start their journey in Shinjuku before being transported to the Digital World, where they’ll meet members of the Olympos XII and uncover mysteries surrounding something called the Wall of Hope. The game also includes quality of life improvements like adjustable battle speed and auto-battle options.

While no exact release date has been given for either the demo, the demo announcement suggests that more details about Digimon Story Time Stranger are likely coming soon before its launch in October. This follows our extended preview that covered the game’s opening sections, battle mechanics, and exploration systems in detail.
