Bandai Namco has just announced that its latest Digimon training RPG Digimon ReArise will be out for the Android and iOS platforms this coming summer.

The game details the sudden appearance of a mysterious Digimon known as Erismon, which is accompanied by a new force of darkness known as the Spiral. Taking on the role of a Digimon Trainer, players are tasked with assembling teams comprising five Digimons. It will be up to you to save both humanity and the digital worlds from complete annihilation.

The core themes of Digimon ReArise include “Communication’”, “Friendship”, and “Growth”, so we are going to guess that social elements are going to be playing a role in the game although we have no idea what it entails at this point in time.
