GENMUGAME CO., LTD. has officially announced that Elpis: Fallen Star will launch worldwide on September 26, 2025. This semi-RTS RPG blends tactical combat, hero collection, and character bonding in a dark fantasy world threatened by the Abyss. Players can already download the game via the Google Play Store, while an iOS App Store release will follow soon.

What is Elpis: Fallen Star?
Elpis: Fallen Star combines real-time strategy elements with role-playing mechanics. Players step into the role of a squad leader who must explore the Abyss, fight its corruption, and confront the Demon King. Because of its hero collection and character progression systems, the game will feel familiar to fans of titles like Blue Archive and Nikke.

Currently, the game requires 2.75 GB of space on Android and supports English. Although the iOS version is still pending, players can already begin forging bonds with unique heroes and experiencing a story of courage in a collapsing world.
Gameplay and Combat
Players must strategically command their squads through grid-based tactical combat, where placement is critical for unleashing skills and attacks. Each hero also has unique ultimate abilities, and their effectiveness often depends on the character’s position on the grid.

Although a full auto-battle mode is available, tougher encounters demand manual timing of ultimates. Furthermore, the Total Assault phase allows all four hero classes—Ironclad, Voidblade, Spellweaver, and Ghosthunter—to combine powers for devastating results. Therefore, combat requires a balance of planning and quick reactions.
Heroes and Progression

As a gacha RPG, the game encourages players to collect and strengthen characters across four distinct classes. Ironclads focus on defense, Voidblades thrive in close-range combat, Spellweavers offer magical support, and Ghosthunters excel at ranged attacks.

In addition, progression relies heavily on deepening bonds with heroes, unlocking leader skills after limit breaking, and optimizing squad setups. Because of these systems, players have many options to create diverse team strategies while also personalizing their playstyle.
Dark Fantasy World
The story unfolds in a realm scarred by the Abyss, a force of corruption tearing apart the land. As a result, despair and darkness spread across the world, threatening all life within it. However, as the leader of an exploration squad, players must uncover secrets while rallying hope against overwhelming odds.

Finally, the game’s narrative emphasizes themes of resilience, courage, and determination. Despite the despair of a collapsing world, bonds between heroes create glimmers of hope in the face of chaos.
Elpis: Fallen Star launches on September 26, 2025, and is already available on Google Play for Android. Meanwhile, the iOS version will arrive soon on the App Store, ensuring both platforms receive access to the full dark fantasy experience.
