Japan-based indie dev SOMMIT GAMES has just announced that it will be launching its shooting game Cosmo Player Z for the Android and iOS platforms on 13 February 2021.

This free game, yes, free as in no in-app purchase, has players taking on the role of various cute girls who have to clear dungeons by gunning down everything that moves. You move the girls with one finger, and the attacks will lock-on to enemies via auto-aim.

As you progress, you will unlock various abilities at random, and these will determine your effectiveness in combat. There are also skill combos generated through various combinations that have the power to instantly wipe out all enemies. Luck will play a factor in how effectively you will be able to clear dungeons. Skills also determine how your characters will look, so you will have to consider if you want to be fashionista and coordinate a good appearance, or just put anything together for the sake of stats. It is worth noting that clearing areas with designated outfits can net you bonuses.

As for the foes you face, apart from the generic mobs, you will be fighting against boss character with unique traits and abilities.
