Celebrate Merdeka Day 2020 with Acer with five new products

This 2020 Merdeka, Acer Malaysia at last announces the availability of several refreshed models, along with the extension of Acer Day promotions to these new arrivals. Products include the long-awaited Acer Nitro 5 powered by AMD’s 7nm processor, Acer Spin 5, Acer Swift 1 and Aspire series.

The “Buy and Win” lucky draw has a prize pool worth more than RM25,000 for customers who purchase select Acer models from any Acer authorized retail shop, online or offline. This reward is part of the Acer Day promotion that offers RM500,000 worth of value-added gifts, which was launched on 2 August and is currently ongoing until 30 September 2020.

ACER NITRO 5

This is Acer’s highly anticipated entry-level gaming laptop, now equipped with a Ryzen 7 4800H 8-core processor paired with NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6. Its slim bezels and 15.6-inch FHD IPS display that supports 144Hz refresh rate allows gamers to relax and enjoy their games and entertainment streaming.

Nitro 5 with AMD Ryzen 7 4800H which usually retails for RM4,099 can be purchased for RM3,999 during
the current special Acer Day promotion period.

ACER SPIN 5

Flexibility is key, with the Acer Spin 5 capable of rotating into four different mode modes: display mode for presenting, tablet mode for entertainment, clamshell mode for keyboard input ortent mode to enable productivity even in a small spaces. The new 360° hinge creates extra ventilation space at certain angles to provide better thermal performance, comfortable typing and immersive visual experience.

ACER SWIFT 1

adventure, measuring just 14.95mm in height andweighing 1.3kg. Acer Swift 1 comes with a fanless design

Pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019, the iridescent-colored Acer Swift 1 will be
available in early September 2020, while the safari gold-coloured Acer Swift 1 is available immediately at

Aspire 5 and Aspire 3

Refreshed with the latest 10th Gen Intel® Core i5 processor, both Acer Aspire 5 and Aspire 3 come with 4GB
RAM with additional slots for future upgrades. In term of storage, both Aspire 5 and 3 have 512GB superfast PCIe NVMe SSD, while Aspire 5 offers an HDD upgrade kit for users who need more storage while the Aspire 3 comes with 32GB Intel Optane Memory that will learn user behaviour and minimize loading time. In addition, the Aspire 5 is pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 for immediate productivity.

Aspire 5 and 3 are available with 14-inch FHD IPS and 15.6-inch FHD display respectively, with slim bezel
