Developers Victor Entertainment has just announced the official launch for the mobile game title Cardcaptor Sakura Repaint Record which is now available for mobile devices.
To those who are unfamiliar with the series, the story revolves around the main protagonist, ten year old fourth grader Sakura Kinomoto opens a mysterious book in her family’s basement and accidentally releases the magical Clow Cards. By her ability to open the seal, Sakura is revealed that she was born with magical powers, and it becomes her responsibility to retrieve the missing cards.
Cardcaptor Sakura Repaint Record is a puzzle-solving mobile game which is based on the classical TV anime series “Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.” Players will be able to enjoy the game’s original story and collect different costumes for Sakura by clearing the stages.
The game will also feature 3D models for the characters which gives the series a breath of fresh air in comparison to the usual 2D characters that we’ve been used to seeing.
To celebrate the launch of the game and its pre-registration milestone reaching 200,000, players will be able to get the game’s original wallpaper, a frog costume for Sakura as well as Jewels x 100.
