Capcom has partnered with Webtoon for an exciting new contest that invites fans to create webcomics set in the Monster Hunter universe, with a chance to win exclusive prizes and showcase their creativity. The Monster Hunter Wilds Webcomic Contest launched on January 17, 2025, and is open to U.S.-based creators, who can submit original webcomics by February 19, 2025. The contest offers a unique opportunity to blend the world of Monster Hunter with the art of visual storytelling.

Entrants can choose from three engaging prompts inspired by the Monster Hunter Wilds universe:
- Hunter’s First Hunt
- A Day in the Life of a Monster
- Your Team: Palico, Gemma, and Alma.
These prompts provide plenty of room for creative exploration, whether it’s portraying a Hunter’s early struggles, diving into the perspective of the iconic creatures, or telling a story about the lovable Palico companions and key characters like Gemma and Alma.
Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, and quality, with a focus on fan-driven content that stays true to the franchise’s spirit. The grand prize winners (3) will receive:
- Monster Hunter Wilds merchandise kit
- Yian Kut Ku Plush
- Game’s Digital Code
The runner-up winners (9) will also receive the plush and digital game code.
Monster Hunter Wilds, the latest title in the franchise, is eagerly anticipated, set to debut on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The contest offers fans a chance to engage with the game’s world in a creative way and to join a community of fellow creators on the Webtoon platform.
Capcom and Webtoon hope to inspire new talent with this collaboration, giving fans the opportunity to reimagine the beloved Monster Hunter universe through webcomics. Submissions are due by February 19, and finalists will be announced on February 24, with winners revealed on February 28.
