Update 12/04/22: Pre-orders for Capcom Fighting Collection have now gone live on all major platforms, including PS4, Switch, Xbox, and Steam.
The Capcom Countdown has come to an end revealing not only Street Fighter 6 but also the Capcom Fighting Collection which will see many of their old arcade fighting games packaged together in one collection.
The game will be released for PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on the 24th of June 2022. Check out the newly released trailer:
“Capcom Fighting Collection features legends from Capcom’s competitive arcade gaming history, faithfully reproduced to play just like they did back in the arcades!
The Collection includes additional settings to improve your at-home experience, and also supports online multiplayer, so you can battle friends and opponents across the world from the comfort of your own room!”
The collection, which will celebrate 35 years of Capcom Fighters, will include ten of Capcom’s classic arcade fighting games:
- Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
- Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
- Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire (Darkstalkers 3)
- Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
- Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire
- Red Earth
- Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness (the game Jin Saotome comes from)
- Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- Hyper Street Fighter II
This will be the first time any of the Darkstalkers games have been released for modern consoles as well as the first time Red Earth will be available at all outside of arcades.
All of these games will also have an online mode complete with rollback netcode. The game will also come with a few quality of life features, these include customizable button layout, customizable difficulty, and quicksaves and loads.
if you’re a fan of collectibles, the game features an art gallery with over 500 pieces of key visual art and concept art for each game in the collection.
The game will be released on June 24th, 2022 for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
