Burger King PlayStation Collaboration Teased

Burger King Malaysia has teased a Burger King PlayStation Collaboration, leaving many to speculate about what’s to come for the fast food brand.

Via a Facebook post, Burger King posted an image of the Burger King and PlayStation logos next to each other, against a background in the now-signature PlayStation blue. Rather than sport any PlayStation themed logos though, the background consists of fast food imagery such as burgers and crowns.

The Burger King Malaysia Facebook account teased the 22nd of January for more information, only describing the collaboration with the phrase “Wishes Do Come True”.

This is far from the first time fast food has dipped its toes in gaming. Dominos Pizza has been branching out to gaming and anime communities in the past, via various memes on their social media channels.

KFC has also made a name for itself in the gaming circles, especially after the release of their KFC dating sim. They would later carry that forward with the announcement of the “KFC Console”.

Still, with the PS5 still very much in demand right now, it’s important for fans to temper their expectations. Not every collaboration with PlayStation has to be a PS5 giveaway, and any who are expecting nothing less from the Burger King PlayStation Collaboration should be geared up for non-zero chance at disappointment.
