It would seem like Blizzard is doubling down with delving deeper into the mobile space, despite the recent backlash from their announcement of a new Diablo game for smartphones. In any case, the company is rumoured to be working on a Pokémon GO-esque game which takes place in the world of Warcraft.
The Warcraft Pokémon GO-esque game, which does not have a working title at this point, will apparently have has a significant single player element. Beyond this, we have no idea as to how the game would look or play like. However, given that inevitable high profile nature of this project, do expect to hear more about it in the coming weeks on months.
Of course, as with all rumours, take this report with a grain salt. Given the reaction of its hardcore fanbase towards mobile adaptations of existing IPs, it would be interesting to see what happens when Blizzard announces this game officially.
