World of Warcraft (WoW) Classic has now opened access to Blackwing Lair! Continue your quest for fame and glory! Champions of the Horde and the Alliance will find themselves descending into the ominous depths of the lair. All WoW Classic realms have access to Blackwing Lair.
Complete your attunements, players, and make your way through the 8-boss raid to uncover just what the eldest son of Deathwing, Nefarian, has been keeping secret and hidden away in his stronghold at the peak of Blackrock Mountain.
Enter Blackrock Mountain from the Burning Steppes or the Searing Gorge. From there, you’ll need to head towards the Blackrock Spire to get attuned. The passageway to the right will have some of the Scarshield Legion and their Quartermaster. Kill him to get Blackhand’s Command and its related quest. At Upper Blackrock Spire, you’ll have to access the Orb of Command behind General Drakkisath’s throne. An alternate entrance will also be accessible after Warchief Rend Blackhand’s defeat, which will require you to be in a raid group to enter.
Other updates will allow players to earn new reputation rewards and take on a class quest chain to enter the dark passages of The Temple of Atal’Hakkar. The Darkmoon Faire is also underway, with Silas Darkmoon presenting a celebration of the wonders and mysteries of Azeroth.
