The Busan Indie Connect Festival 2025 has wrapped up with its closing ceremony and awards announcement, celebrating the best indie games from this year’s record-breaking event. After showcasing 283 indie games from 592 submissions across 41 countries, BIC 2025 recognized outstanding achievements in both its General and Rookie divisions. The awards ceremony honored games that excelled in various categories, from social impact and audio design to experimental gameplay and artistic vision.

The Busan Indie Connect 2025 awards highlight the diverse creativity and innovation within the global indie gaming community. With NODE: The Last Favor of the Antarii by Lapsus Games taking home the Grand Prix in the General Division and Hermit Computer by VIA studio earning the Rising Star award in the Rookie Division, this year’s winners represent the festival’s commitment to celebrating both established and emerging indie developers. As the 11th edition of South Korea’s premier indie gaming event comes to a close, the festival continues to fulfill its mission of connecting indie creators and players from around the world under the theme “Match Your Indie Spirit.”
