BattleBrew Productions – a team made up of the former AAA staffs is ready to brew something big

A new game development studio based in Singapore – BattleBrew Productions has successfully raised an undisclosed amount from Harish Nim (CEO of Emerio Corp, an NTT-Docomo affiliated company) in a private angel funding. With these funding, they will be continuously working on their flagship title which will make its first appearance on Tokyo Game Show and GameStart Asia soon.

BattleBrew Productions consists of a feisty crew of creators and craftsmen, most of them from the triple A studios – Ubisoft, Gumi, Gameloft and Garena and more. The team leader is Shawn Toh who previously led teams in Nubee and Gumi, while Elicia Lee, the founder of GameStart Asia is the Marketing Director that supports the team. Ian Gregory, the Co-founder and Creative Director of Witching Hour Studios joins the team as a Strategic Director too. His previous work – Masquerada won the Best Indie Game at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan.

They plan to release the mobile strategy game they are working on in early 2018. But before that, you can catch a glimpse of its pre-alpha build at Tokyo Game Show in September and GameStart Asia in October.
