Bandai Namco has unveiled the latest entry in its beloved tactical RPG franchise, Super Robot Wars Y, promising an epic crossover adventure for fans of mecha anime. Developed by Bandai Namco Forge Digitals (formerly B.B. Studio), the game is set to launch worldwide in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Super Robot Wars Y continues the series’ trademark formula of bringing together diverse anime universes into a single, grid-based strategic combat RPG. Players will command units from multiple iconic mecha franchises, strategically positioning their forces and engaging in spectacular battles.

The initial roster of featured series promises an exciting mix of classic and modern mecha anime, including COMBATTLER V, Aura Battler Dunbine, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury Season 1, Majestic Prince, Macross Delta: Passionate Walküre, Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection, and Getter Robo Arc.

Moreover, players can expect to strategically deploy units on grid-based battlefields, upgrade mechs and train pilots using resources earned from missions, and experience crossover battles featuring units and pilots from multiple anime series.
