GungHo Online Entertainment struck a licensing deal with Marvel. Superheroes and villains from Marvel will appear in Puzzle & Dragons.

The announcement for this collaboration surfaced online through “Puzzle & Dragons official broadcast” on YouTube. You can watch the 20-minute live stream here:

Note that this crossover event is only for the Japanese version of the game. Whether or not this collaboration will take place in global servers remain unknown. However, given the popularity of Marvel, it is rather likely that the event will be available globally in the future.

As for Japanese players, Marvel x Puzzle & Dragons collab will begin on 22nd February 2021. It will be live for 3 weeks, ending on 8th March 2021. Check out some of the Marvel characters coming to the game.

Besides that, there are also different variants of the characters featured above. Currently, it is unknown whether the following units are evo or transform units.

• Ironman [Hulkbuster Armor]

• Weapon X Wolverine

• Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange

• Monster Hulk

• Rocket & Groot

• Master of Magnetism Magneto

• Thanos the Omnipotent

In addition, all players who log in during the duration of the event will receive a free unit. This card is Iron Man [Extremis Armor].
