ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has officially announced its 2025 gaming laptop lineup, featuring cutting-edge hardware and innovative designs across multiple series. The new collection, which includes refreshed Strix, Flow, and Zephyrus models, showcases the latest processors from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA.

The 2025 ROG lineup is powered by NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture. These GPUs bring significant AI capabilities and support NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology for enhanced gaming performance. Select models feature the top-end GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB GDDR7 memory. On the processor front, the new laptops come equipped with either Intel Core Ultra processors (including the Core Ultra 9 275HX for Strix models and Core Ultra 9 285H for Zephyrus) or AMD’s new Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chiplet processor for the Flow Z13.

Redesigned ROG Strix Series, Flow Z13, and Zephyrus 

The 2025 Strix lineup introduces bold new chassis designs for the Intel-based Strix SCAR 16, SCAR 18, Strix G16, and G18 models. A standout feature is the industry’s first tool-less bottom panel on a gaming laptop, allowing users to access internal components with a single button press. These models also feature a new cooling system with a “sandwiched heatsink design” that places fins above and below an end-to-end vapor chamber. This thermal system enables the laptops to deliver up to 240W of power while generating less noise than previous generations.

Display improvements include dual-layer ACR film technology that reduces reflections by 55% and increases contrast by 4.5x, providing more vivid colors and better visibility during gameplay.

The 2025 Flow Z13 gaming tablet receives a significant upgrade with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chiplet processor, featuring RDNA 3.5 graphics cores that deliver performance comparable to Radeon 8060S discrete graphics. The system includes dedicated NPU cores offering 50 TOPS of AI compute power for enhanced Copilot+ experiences.

To manage this power in its compact form factor, the Flow Z13 employs a redesigned vapor chamber with 54% more coverage and features a unique cooling channel behind the touchscreen to manage skin temperatures. It comes with a 2.5K 180Hz ROG Nebula Display offering 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and 500 nits of peak brightness.

The Zephyrus G16 has been refreshed with Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs. Cooling improvements include refined heatpipe designs and 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans, making the system 23% more efficient than previous models. The Zephyrus lineup features ROG Nebula Displays with OLED panels, 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rates, and full support for NVIDIA G-SYNC.

The 2025 ROG lineup is available for pre-order in Malaysia from today until March 31, 2025, with special promotional bundles worth up to RM 2,899.
