ASUS Malaysia announced the new and improved model of Vivobook 16 (M1605), now available for purchase in the country.
As announced, the new 16-inch Vivobook 16 laptop is now available for purchase from all authorized ASUS resellers as well as the official ASUS e-store.

As an aim to ensure performance, the Vivobook 16 is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors, featuring either the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U or the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Processor, with up to 16 GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 memory and 512 GB SSD storage.
For thermal regulations, the cooling system includes an ASUS IceBlade fan with 87 blades, and dual air vents for efficient acceleration of heat transfer.
Furthermore, the laptop comes with a 42 Wh capacity battery, as well as WiFi 6E, enhanced with ASUS WiFi Master technology for internet connectivity.
Display
The Vivobook 16 is packed with a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 16:10 LCD display, giving users approximately 10% more viewing area than conventional 16:9 15.6-inch displays.
Moreover, the laptop boasts an almost bezel-less display design with a 86.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The displays are also TÜV Rheinland-certified for eye care, reducing blue light levels to make the viewing less straining.
Ideal Portability
While the laptop has a 16-inch display, it does not compromise on portability due to its high screen-to-body ratio and lightweight design.
The laptop weighs just about 1.8 kg and has a 15.6-inch design, allowing users to effortless keep the Vivobook 16 in any standard-sized backpack.
For its design, the laptop has a geometric look featuring a raised Vivobook logo tag on the lid, a warning-striped Enter key, and two color options, Indie Black and Cool Silver.
Said to be precision-engineered, the display can be laid flat 180° with its hinges, allowing easier content sharing with others.
The webcam of the laptop has a convenient physical shield that enables users to shut it for privacy, while the touchpad has a fingerprint sensor for fast password-free login via Windows Hello.
Furthermore, the laptop has a full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard with a 19.05 mm key pitch, a 0.2 mm key-cap dish, and a 1.4 mm key travel.
To keep the laptop hygienic and reduce the spread of germs, the surface of the laptop is treated with ASUS Antimicrobial Guard Plus, while the sides offer a full set of I/O ports.

Aside from a physical shield, the HD webcam also comes equipped with ASUS 3DNR video-processing technology, said to make the video feed clearer.
In addition to that, ASUS also armed the Vivobook 16 with ASUS AI noise-canceling technology that employs machine learning to isolate unwanted noises from human speech and help filter out ambient noise.
Apart from that, ASUS claimed that the Vivobook 16 is tested to ensure its durability, utilizing the MIL-STD-810H US military-grade standard, with up to 12 test methods and 26 individual tests.

As mentioned, the ASUS Vivobook 16 (M1605) is now available for purchase from all authorized ASUS resellers, as well as the official ASUS e-store.
The laptop is available in 2 variants, one powered by the Ryzen 5 7530U and 8 GB RAM, priced at RM 2,599.
Meanwhile, the other is equipped with a Ryzen 7 7730U processor and a 16 GB RAM, priced at RM 2,999.
Both variants will be available in either Indie Black or Cool Silver color options, and the purchase will be bundled with a free one-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, along with a collection of ASUS apps, including GlideX, MyASUS, and ScreenXpert.
