ASUS has officially announced the release of its new Vivobook S14/S16 series (S3407CA/VA and S3607VA) in Malaysia, offering sleek and lightweight laptops designed for both productivity and entertainment. The new models will be available from authorized ASUS resellers starting May 19, 2025. The Vivobook S14/S16 series features a modern minimalist design with metal chassis, measuring just 1.59cm thin and weighing from 1.39kg. These laptops are built with military-grade durability while maintaining a stylish appearance, available in Matte Gray and Cool Silver color options.

Powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 processors (Series 2), the new Vivobooks offer impressive performance alongside 16GB DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage. Battery life is a significant highlight, with ASUS claiming up to 20 hours of usage from the 70Wh battery, which also supports fast charging technology that can reach 60% in just 49 minutes.

AI capabilities are central to these new laptops, featuring a dedicated Copilot key for instant access to Microsoft’s AI assistant. The laptops also include ASUS AI noise-cancellation technology and 3D Noise Reduction video enhancement, designed to improve conference call quality regardless of environmental conditions.

Display options include up to 16-inch 16:10 FHD+ 144Hz panels for the S16 model or 14-inch 16:10 FHD+ IPS 60Hz panels for the S14, both featuring low-blue-light technology. Audio performance is enhanced with Dolby Atmos support for immersive sound. Security features include an FHD IR camera with face login support, Windows Passkeys, and a physical webcam shutter for privacy protection.

Connectivity is comprehensive with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports supporting DisplayPort and Power Delivery, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. The laptops also feature WiFi 6 for stable wireless connectivity and Microsoft Phone Link integration for seamless smartphone connectivity.

The ASUS Vivobook S14/S16 (S3407VA/S3607VA) will be priced at RM3,199, with the higher-end ASUS Vivobook S14 (S3407CA) available at RM4,099.
