ASUS Malaysia has announced the launch of the newest addition to the ExpertBook B1 series, the ASUS ExpertBook B1 (B1402).
The ASUS ExpertBook B1 (B1402) is available from 21st February 2024 onwards and is sold at selected authorized retailers and partners, with the laptop being priced from RM 3,699. You can ask for more information here.
ASUS ExpertBook B1 (B1402) is equipped with up to an Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with support for up to 40GB memory with a single SO-DIMM slot and a 512 GB PCle® 4.0 M.2 SSD. The laptop also comes with WiFi 6E technology and a full spread of I/O ports for a wide range of peripheral devices.

Image Credit: ASUS MalaysiaIt also comes with a NanoEdge display, offering a wide 178° view angle. The 14-inch display is also attached via a lay-flat hinge that allows the screen to be open a full 180°.
The ASUS ExpertBook B1 (B1402) has also been designed with sustainability in mind, carrying full EPEAT Gold, TCO 9.0, and ENERGY STAR® 8.0 certifications. The packaging is also made out of a mixture of FSC™-certified forests, recycled materials, and other controlled sources.
Security for the laptop has also been significantly upgraded, coming with enterprise-grade login and authentication features. There is also a built-in infrared camera that enables fast login via face alone and an optional fingerprint sensor that allows another layer of authentication. A physical webcam shield is also set up for instant privacy.
A Kensington lock slot and an optional Trusted Platform Module are also available for the laptop, adding security both on the software and hardware itself.
Durability is also one of its major features, with it meeting the YS MIL-STD 810H standard for military-grade durability. The laptop also comes with a 3-year local on-site warranty, a 3-year battery warranty, and 1st year Perfect Warranty (accidental damage protection).
