Arale Adventure – a mobile game authorized by Akira Toriyama’s Dr. Slump is launching on Android today!

Do you remember Dr. Slump? The Japanese manga and anime series by Akira Toriyama was quite popular amongst the 80’s and 90’s, and today, a mobile game based on the series is going live! Officially authorized by Toei Animation, Arale Adventure is an artillery game for mobile that features characters and classic scenes from Dr. Slump.

• Original scenes, characters and voiceovers

The classic scenes from Dr. Slump are recreated in Arale Adventure! Iconic characters such as Arale, Senbei and Akane are featured in the mobile game with their original voiceover casts too.

• Unlimited gameplay possibilities

There are over 20 playable characters available, each with their unique abilities for you to collect and raise. Every player will be able to control 2 characters in a match, and by matching up the great variety of abilities or items, you could perform any strategy you want, or try out all the possibilities in the real-time battles.

• Newbie-friendly gameplay controls

Choose between the 2 different types of gameplay controls – the energy charging mode and line pulling mode. The energy charging mode is a classic mode for artillery game where you press and hold the fire button to charge up energy (according to the distance you want to fire onto) before fire your attack. While the line pulling mode is easier for those who are new to artillery games, as you can just drag a line to aim and release it to fire.

• Customize your character

You can customize your owned characters with different costumes and style, then showcased it to everyone you know!

• Exciting social features

Plenty of exciting social features including guild and real-time chatbox are available. You can team up with your friends to battle or team up with your guildmates to fight the boss together too. Also, you can share your battles with your friends so they can watch it live!

Arale Adventure is available for Android now, while iOS stores will get it in the near future. In addition, the official Facebook page of Arale Adventure is holding a story sharing event with the hashtag “#AraleComingBack“, where you can share your story with Arale or Dr. Slump and stand a chance to bring home some exclusive gifts including the official merchandise!
