Acer has unveiled the latest laptops in their gaming line, which includes the new Predator Helios Neo 14 and the Nitro 16.

Powered by the latest Intel® Core Ultra CPUs and 14th gen processors respectively, both devices feature Microsoft Copilot with a dedicated Copilot key, further complementing the creativity and capabilities of the laptop with fast access to AI assistant and AI-enhanced videoconferencing features.

A one-month access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will also be included with the devices, allowing gamers to access hundreds of games.

Predator Helios Neo 14

Expanding its portfolio, the Predator Helios Neo is now sleeker with a more portable build compared to its 16-inch and 18-inch siblings, while still equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H with dedicated AI acceleration capabilities, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU that supports DLSS 3.5.

With improved thermals and optimized efficiency, the laptop is also armed with a WQXGA (3072×1920) display option at 165 Hz, 100% sRGB color spectrum support, and NVIDIA G-SYNC® compatibility.

Equipped with a dual-fan thermal solution system, the device includes a 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan and Vortex Flow technology, liquid metal grease on the CPU, and broad vector heat pipes for better heat transfer and thermal capacity.

For I/O ports, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 comes with an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E connection, a full-function USB Type-C with ThunderBolt 4 port, and a MicroSD card reader.

Furthermore, video and audio communications on the device have also been improved with the Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 AI technology, which eliminates background noises with its triple-microphone setup; along with the Acer PurifiedViewTM webcam solutions for better imaging.

Moreover, a collection of AI features can be found on the PredatorSense application, providing options for users to personalize their devices, change keyboard lighting effects, and track the system health of the laptop.

Acer Nitro 16 

The Acer Nitro 16 is a laptop that blends the latest technology and an array of features for gaming and productivity.

This 16-inch gaming laptop is now upgraded with up to an Intel Core i7 14700HX processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, both upgrades that are said to accelerate the device’s performance and multitasking power.

With the performance boost of DLSS 3.5, games can be enjoyed on the laptop’s 16-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color spectrum support.

Integrated with Windows Copilot and Acer’s AI-enhanced conferencing solutions, the laptop also comes with a dedicated NitroSense key that allows access to the new Experience Zone that provides an overview of the laptop’s AI-related functions.

The NitroSense software also allows users to further customize their device to their liking with different performance modes and 4-zone RGB keyboard lighting.

For thermal, the Nitro 16 comes with dual-fan, quad-intake, and quad-exhaust cooling systems that are said to minimize heating and maximize both CPU and GPU performance.

Meanwhile, for connectivity and I/O ports, the Nitro 16 comes with Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro, dual USB Type-C with ThunderBolt 4 ports, and a MicroSD card reader.

Price and Availability

The Predator Helios Neo 14 (PHN14-51) will be available in North America this coming May, starting at USD 1,799.99, and in EMEA in June, with a starting price of EUR 1,999.

Meanwhile, the Acer Nitro 16 (AN16-73) will be available in North America in May, starting at USD 1,399.99, and in EMEA this coming June with a starting price of EUR 1,599.
