Acer has launched their latest premium convertible Chromebooks, the Acer Chromebook Spin 714 and Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 714.

The new Chromebook line comes packing with the new 13th Gen Intel Core processors, 10-hour battery life with fast-charging, and new features; all of which is delivered in the eco-friendly packaging made from fully recyclable materials.

Processor and Visuals 

These new Chromebooks are powered by up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processors which provide up to 10% performance improvement over previous generations. They also adhere to the Intel Evo platform standards, to provide up to 10 hours of battery life, and can be quick-charged for only 30 minutes to provide up to 4 hours of use.

With the 14″ touchscreen Chromebook with WUXGA (1920×1200) display showcases visuals in a 100% sRGB colour range. The 16:10 display is surrounded by thin bezels and comes equipped with Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Webcam

The Acer Chromebooks feature a QHD 2K webcam and provides a premium video conferencing solution for work and school. The 2K webcam comes with temporal noise reduction technology to maintain high-quality visuals even in low-light conditions, along with privacy protection with a physical shutter.

Additionally, the Chromebooks stay connected via Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, along with providing a range of ports including HDMI and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. With the optional fingerprint reader, unlocking the device is made quicker while keeping your data secure.

Acer’s Earthion Mission 

As part of Acer’s Earthion mission, the new Chromebooks comes equipped several eco-friendly features and an EPEAT registration. Containing post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics, the Chromebooks’ packaging is made entirely of recycled materials, including molded pulp packaging made from recycled paper, cardboard, and other natural fibers.

Pricing and Availability 

The Acer Chromebook Spin 714 (CP714-2W) will be available in North America in May, starting at USD 699.99. While EMEA region will get it in July starting at EUR 999.
