Acer has showcased the Acer Chromebook Spin 13 and its specifications at their event today. The latest model of the Chromebook series comes with top-notch specs that makes the previous models a few levels inferior.

Specifications

The highlight of the Chromebook Spin 13 is the processor. The Chromebook comes equipped with an 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8250U processor. This makes it the first among the Chromebook series to run on an 8th Generation Intel Core i processor.

Furthermore, the Chromebook comes built with an aluminium chassis which improves durability and also reduce flex. The Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad helps provide smooth navigation when browsing the web and apps. The Chromebook also comes equipped with dual microphones to help pinpoint sound for clear audio during video calls and online calls.

In addition, the device has 360-degree hinges which allows it to be used as a laptop, tablet, display or in tent mode. The Chromebook boasts wobble-free and fully optimized display thanks to its 360 degrees dual-torque hinge design. With four modes to choose from, users will always be able to find the right use for it. The Chromebook also comes with a Wacom stylus which makes designing and interacting with apps much easier with better precision.

Another highlight of the Chromebook is the USB ports. The device has Type-C ports on each side for the user’s convenience. In addition to charging the Chromebook, the ports can be used for data transfer or charging other devices. It also boasts a long battery life of up to 10 hours for long periods of work, gaming and streaming.
