With the launch of LifeAfter Season 4: The 2nd Outbreak, the new gameplay “Battle for Survival” has entered the second stage—Mass Crisis.

The Super-Dimensional Atom dropped from the sky on November 8 cast a shadow over Doomsday World and brought a whole new level of combat experience with the zero-gravity gameplay. What on earth is the black orb phenomenon? And what horrible truth is hiding behind it? You have to play and find out.

LifeAfter is an Open World Doomsday Survival Game that has 200 million registered players worldwide since its launch in 2018. Players face scarce resources, harsh weather, and dangerous wildfires, and from-scratch collect resources, build houses, make tools and weapons, and fight alongside teammates to make and defend a home in a post-apocalyptic world. Players are facing a more pressing, cruel, and realistic doomsday world where strange phenomena are taking place since Season 4 launched on November 4.

Three Factions Intervened Yet Are Attacked

“Battle for Survival” is the new world-event gameplay introduced in LifeAfter Season 4. The event will go on for days, opening from 20:00 to 20:30 each day. Survivors from the whole server will take part in different game content, driving the progress of the world event by helping various factions to accomplish a series of campaign goals and going to a number of key battles.

Mass Crisis is by far one of the most important campaigns of the “Battle for Survival”. The thrill comes not only from ground attacks but also from unknown airborne threats. The Federation investigation teams discovered traces of evolving biological weapons in various places. A giant black orb called Super-Dimensional Atom has shifted gravitational forces in the area, giving rise to investigations from three major Factions.

Yet the crises kept on coming. New types of Infected appeared near Super-Dimensional Atom and massive zombie swarms are attacking the base. In the midst of all this, investigation teams discovered the relationship between Super-Dimensional Atom and the other three atoms, which the Federation destroyed and installed Gravity Enhancer. They adjusted strategies by announcing the plan for the Ending Battle, in which every survivor will determine the fate of the world.

How to Win the Floating Battle and Where Will Civilization Go?

Amid the new phenomena, the gravitational shift brought by Super-Dimensional Atom and the other three atoms has offered an unprecedented floating combat experience.

Super-Dimensional Atom is the source of the problems, leading other three atoms. Gravitational Atom inherits gravitation-distortion power from Super-Dimensional Atom, which affords it the ability to control gravitational forces, draw survivors to the center and cause great damages. The Mutational Atom inherits the mutation power from Super-Dimensional Atom, which affords it the ability to summon Infected and spit poison balls that deal damage to nearby survivors. Solidifying Atom inherits a shielding power, which summons small black orbs to radiate rays.

Super-Dimensional Atom is so destructive and powerful. The native Infected in Mouth Swamp have undergone mutation, growing black crystals on the body. And there are some new types of Infected: the venom spitting Swamp Water Bear, the disguising Disguiser, the diving attacking Glider, the hunting Predator, and the exploding Hibernator. They are all searching for every trace of survivors.

To negate the situation, the three Factions are organizing teams to investigate. Survivors can choose to join the investigation efforts of any faction. The Scientia is in charge of installing the measuring device and recording gravitational shifts; the Revenant is catching Infected alive to collect infection data; the Imperium attacks the shield with different weapons to collect shield info.

With the efforts of all survivors, the Gravity Enhancer has been successfully developed, bringing hope to everyone. The Ending Battle is finally here!

At 20:00 on November 20, the new update will launch and the battle will begin. If the battle is won, every survivor will get double rewards and the world will return to normal. If failed, the Infected will rage on, and the black orb will continue to mess with gravity. On the precipice of civilization collapsing and survival situation breaking, this war is relevant to every survivor.
