Genshin Impact PS5 gift box set sells out

To commemorate the launch of Genshin Impact‘s latest version update, a PS5 collaboration gift box was made available through T-Mall. As you might expect, considering the scarcity of PS5 consoles and the popularity of Genshin itself, the gift box set is, at time of writing, no longer available. You can still check out the store page for your own perusal here.

The set includes the console itself and related accessories, as well as a variety of merchandise as you can see in the image above. While we can’t say how many units were made available, it would have set you back at 5,855 yuan, or around ~USD 910. A regular PS5 Disc Drive would cost you USD 499.99. It’s not the first time Genshin has collaborated with brands for exclusive merchandise, like how Keqing got her own stylized mechanical keyboard (a far more readily attainable product).

Genshin version 2.0 at last opens up the region of Inazuma, where the Electro Archon, the Raiden Shogun, resides. Two Acts of the Archon Story are already available, besides three new islands for players to explore. The associated version flagship event will also be commencing soon, for even more goodies for players to obtain.
