Garena has published Arum Games‘ Fantasy Town in Malaysia and Singapore! The award-winning, free-to-play farming simulation game, allows players to build their dream towns as they explore local cultures from around the world. With Garena, Fantasy Town is getting exclusive content specially developed for players in Malaysia and Singapore. Garena previously launched the game in first Indonesia, then the Philippines and Thailand. New players can get a free welcome pack which includes the character Zeus as well as Rubies, the in-game currency.

Fantasy Town provides players with the opportunity to experience in-game iconic cultural elements from around the world. These include national and historical landmarks such as the National Monument (Monas) and Borobudur temple in Indonesia, and elements from local folklore, like the Manananggal – a vampire-like mythical creature that originated in the Philippines.
Players in Malaysia and Singapore can also look forward to local content prepared specifically for them. These include the Merlion – Singapore’s official mascot, depicted as a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish – and the game’s first Malay characters. They can also get the legendary hero, Tiger, which is the national animal of Malaysia.
More than a farming simulation
Fantasy Town is chock-full of exciting gameplay features. In addition to farming, crafting, and town-building, players can also embark on quests to save their loyal citizens and explore mysterious areas. Players will need to recruit and train heroes who can defeat monsters guarding each area. Doing so will earn them exciting prizes that they can use to further expand their towns!
Players can collect 12 types of citizens to make their city more lively. These include knights, mages, and warriors, who will help you defeat monsters on your quests, as well as various jobs to contribute to developing the city, such as chefs, merchants, blacksmiths, artisans, farmers, miners, and fishers.
Players will also be able to collect a host of legendary animals in Fantasy Town, which they can showcase in their very own zoos. They will have their functional uses too, being able to help players make a variety of products.
