DK Mobile launches in South Korea

DK Mobile, subtitled with “The Return of Heroes”, has launched in South Korea. It is, as you might expect, a mobile game, one based off the PC MMORPG, DK Online, which is currently still in operation in its home country as well as globally under Masangsoft. The global PC version is also playable via Steam, besides a downloadable client available from its official website.

DK Mobile saw over 2 million pre-registrations prior to its launch. The mobile version is supposed to capture the spirit and gameplay of the original, which featured the following:

• Massive Open World: Explore the vast fields and dungeons of the various landscapes.
• Battle of endless tension: With various types of monsters and unconditional PK, you can always experience intense combat.
• Guild: As a member of the guild, you can share your adventure and grow your guild.
• Siege: Do you want to participate in a large-scale guild battle, Siege, and gain ownership of the castle? Become a lord of the castle and enhance your reputation in the DK Online world!
• Transformation: You can change the appearance of your character through transformation, as well as increase the number of abilities, decide whether to use items and magic.

NTRANCE, who manages the mobile version, says they are considering expansion to other countries, but they will focus on their home launch first.
