Today Xiaomi launched the Mi 11, their 5G enabled phone powered by the amazing Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G. The phone is available to pre-order now, and Xiaomi has even given us a look at what to expect from their upcoming flagship phone.

The phone will retail in Malaysia for RM2799 (8GB + 128GB model) and RM2999 (8GB +256 GB). You can get it from the Xiaomi website, as well as their official Lazada page.

You’ll be able to pre-order the phone from February 25th to 10th March, with the first 1500 to do so getting a free air purifier worth RM569 out of it, too.

Movie Magic

The phone sports a high-end camera, with multiple lenses for a variety of situations. Chief of these is its 108MP main camera, alongside a 123-degree ultra-wide lens for those truly gorgeous vistas that need to be taken in all at once.

It also sports a unique Telemacro lens, allowing you to take up-close shots with great precision and clarity. Not many phones come with a Telemacro lens, which is great especially if you’re a hobbyist looking to take photos of figurines or miniatures, or even nature.

Of course, Xiaomi says this phone’s built for video, as well. Thanks to the Snapdragon 888 5G, it can record up to 8K resolution footage, meaning you can get cinema-quality visuals out the same device you’re using to check your groceries.

On top of that, you can also use a variety of cool effects for your video, sure to give anything you shoot a dynamic and creative flair.

In a bold new step by Xiaomi, all of the phone’s 3 cameras will also support night mode, letting you take photos and video in low light without having to rely on the main camera. It even has both software and hardware-related adaptations to make sure night-mode footage shot isn’t just passable, they want it to look good. This helps reduce the graininess of any footage with advanced noise reduction.

On top of that, it can record footage at up to 8k, or with 120 fps bursts. It also sports HDR 10+ support, meaning your videos will automatically stand out against the competition with vibrant colors and amazing contrast.

Top Of The Line Display

Of course, good photos don’t mean squat without a good display to show them off with. The Xiaomi Mi 11 uses what they call a WQHD+ display, supporting 3200 x 1440 resolution and up to 120hz.  This is all part of a 6.61-inch AMOLED display, so you’ll be able to enjoy everything you’ve shot on your phone with top-of-the-line clarity.

On top of that, it has a smaller, lighter design compared to previous generations, as well as overall improved performance thanks to its advanced chipset. This includes better wi-fi as well as a more responsive UI.

On top of that, it will even run games well, as Xiaomi confirms that Genshin Impact will run well on the new flagship phone.
