D4DJ Groovy Mix has announced its release date for 25 October 2020! To celebrate the announcement, new systems have been revealed among other news:

A multi-medley live is created when four people select their choice of song. Players of similar strength will be matched, with their songs of choice combined to make an original medley. Rewards will be given out based on the total score of all four players!

With club customization, the live screen can be customized with your unit of choice, character arrangement, lighting colour, DJ stand and the other accessories you can access. Make the club your own!

The pre-release version of the game – D4DJ Groovy Mix D4U Edition – will add new songs, including the Mega Man 2 medley and Street Fighter 2 medley.

At 777,777 pre-registrations, a Tokyo 7th Sisters song cover will be added to the game. The title will be announced at a later date.

In D4DJ Groovy Mix, players will take on the role of an inexperienced DJ who has to learn the ropes by mastering numerous techniques to create original music from a large library of original songs. You will be able to develop your own medley via the medley mode. With the inclusion of a fully-voiced original story and you will be able to learn more about the life of the several D4DJ units. Gacha is of course the name of the game here, although how it impact gameplay is unknown. However as you might expect, cards with the highest rarity can be transformed into an animated live 2D version, so there’s that to look forward to.

In any case, save the D4DJ release date for later this year.
