FFBE / Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is celebrating its 4th global release anniversary on 29 June, with phase 1 of the goodies going out. A letter from Hiroki Fujimoto, the global version’s producer, explained the issues in delivering a grand celebration, which can be boiled down to delays due to COVID-19. Collect your 5000 Lapis with the anniversary, and the second and third phases of the celebration will follow soon after. The full letter, posted on Facebook, reads as follows:

To our dearest players:

Thank you for playing FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS.

The 29th of June will mark the fourth anniversary of the release of FFBE’s global version, and we have all of you to thank for making this possible.

However, there is some news I must share with all of you today in regards to the anniversary.

Unfortunately, we have been forced to delay a considerable amount of content originally planned for release during this year’s anniversary due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as our current priority is to ensure the health and safety of our team members.

Therefore, this year’s anniversary will be slightly different than previous ones, as we divide the celebratory events into three different phases.

At the beginning it may look like the rewards being given out do not match those of previous anniversaries, but this is only because they have been divided over a longer span of time. We would like to assure you that this anniversary will be full of great rewards despite the circumstances. Our goal is to provide everyone who has supported us for these last four years with content they can really enjoy, so please look forward to it.

The first phase of the celebration—”4th Anniversary: Next Era”⁠—will begin on June 29th, 2020.

It will feature events such as:

・FFBE 4th Anniversary: Next Era – Equipment Exchange Quest

・Next Era All Rainbow 11 Summon

Following our first phase, we will have a second and third phase to keep the fourth anniversary celebration going with lots of exciting and fun content which we hope all of you will enjoy.

Lastly, as we ramp up the festivities in the months to come to show my gratitude to all of the players who have supported us throughout the years, I will be giving everyone 5,000 lapis on June 29th—the day of our anniversary.

We will also be giving everyone 100 FFBE 4th Anniversary Slots Tokens to play our special anniversary version of Slots de Chocobo during our third celebratory period. The rewards for the slots this time around will be shared through in-game and official social media posts at a later date, so we kindly ask that you keep an eye on the news when you log in each day.
