Chaos continues to swirl around the nexus in the Fragments of the Dark Nexus event, starting 15 April in HotS / Heroes of the Storm! While the Raven Lord has been defeated, the hatred is not so easily dispelled. Some, like the noble Protoss heroes Tassadar and Fenix, have journeyed into the rift, risking their sanity to slow the corruption. Others yet sought to harness this outpouring of power, least of all Deathwing, soaring into the violent heart of the Nexus intent to gorge himself and wage a war of conquest.

Be it power or peace, join in the Fragments of the Dark Nexus event, which will last until the next major HotS update! There will be new skins available for Deathwing, Fenix, Tassadar, Gul’dan and Alarak. Likewise, new mounts, namely the Dark Nexus Beast, Dark Nexus Hound and Dark Nexus Manta will be available. Last but not least will be Fragments of the Dark Nexus bundles, with new sprays, emojis and portraits.

In the mean time, try out the new Nexus Anomalies! These are experimental, season-long updates introduced with every ranked season. The first saw Experience Globes, which has been received warmly and will be here to stay! The next Nexus Anomaly will be A Call for Help, hitting live servers today. Towers and Cores will become more reliable teammates, featuring unique abilities that make them defensive forces to be reckoned with.
