After much deliberation, SNK officially launched King of Fighters for Girls on the Android and iOS platform.
To recap, players will take the role of a young woman who finds work at a gym where these fighters go to, and it progresses from there. She will be managing them as well as they aim for the King of Fighters tournament. As you might expect, KOFG is aimed at girls and women.
With pre-registrations having reached 100,000, players will be rewarded with a special scenario, but exactly what that entails is something you will have to look up yourself. This is definitely quite odd genre turn for a game that has been since inception, a fighting game. With the franchise having reached maturity a long time ago, it is certainly interesting to see how it will perform by venturing to other genres, with the most recent one before this being an RPG.
