[BlizzCon 2019] World of Warcraft: Shadowlands announced

World of Warcraft will be getting its eighth expansion, called Shadowlands. This area is the afterlife for the WoW universe. Death comes for everyone, and players will be going there themselves, as showcased at BlizzCon 2019.

Sylvanas breaks the Lich King’s helmet, and it would seem, for the first time, there will be no Lich King. Naturally, going to a whole new world means a lot of new things.

New zones have been teased:

• Revendreth
• Maldraxxus
• Bastion
• Ardenweald

There will be new dungeons and raids to follow. One such area appears to be the “Tower of the Damned”. Covenants are also teased, and players will be asked to choose one. Each seem to have their own unique armour as well.
