It’s been a year now since Dragalia Lost‘s launch, and the game has seen many updates leading up to this. Notte, our fairy companion, opens up the special first anniversary digest, and here’s the rundown!

LOGIN BONUSES

Item summons will also be changed! SIX free item summons will be available daily from 27 September 2019 6:00AM to 18 October 2019 5:59AM UTC. The lineup of items, including those with low appearance rates, will be changed and will persist after the event. Likewise, wyrmite requirements for the second item summon onwards will be reduced too!

TWITTER CAMPAIGN

Additionally, there is a Twitter Follow and Retweet Campaign! One lucky player will get 100 sunlight stones! 10 players will be receiving one each of the featured 5★ Dragons!

Rupies, mana and eldwater will also be given out based on the number of retweets, so get to it!

GALA DRAGALIA

The dates for the next Gala Dragalia was announced, set for 27 September 2019 6:00AM UTC to 2 October 2019 5:59AM UTC. The featured character is…

… the prince, or as they call him in Dragalia Life, Euden! He is a Light-element, Sword Attack unit with the following when fully unbound:

• Dragonlight’s Resolve II: Ability. Reduces dragon gauge depletion over time by 30%, and increases attack rate when shapeshifted by 10%.
• Sacred Shield II: Ability. Reduces susceptibility to poison and curses by 100%.
• Draconic Charge II: Ability. Fills 50% of the user’s dragon gauge when their HP drops to 30% (once per quest).
• Rising Circlet: Skill. Deals light damage to surrounding enemies, and creates a buff zone that lasts for 10 seconds and increases the strength of adventurers inside it by 20%.
• Exalted Glory: Skill. Deals light damage to enemies directly ahead, inflicts paralysis, increases the entire team’s strength and defense by 15% for 15 seconds, and grants all teammates a one-use shield that nullifies damage less than 20% of the user’s maximum HP.
  • Does not stack with other shields.
  • The skill gauge for this skill can be filled by attacking enemies, but it will also gradually fill automatically. Abilities that increase skill gauge fill rate will not affect this automatic increase.
• Shapeshifting Boost VIII: Co-ability. When in dragon form, adds 10% to the damage modifier and extends shapeshift time by 20%.

NEW UPDATES

Anniversary means big updates!

• Changing how raid battles are played
  • Items can be used to participate in EX battles
    • Otherworld Gems from Expert and Nightmare battles can be used to challenge EX raid battles anytime! EX raid battles were previously random
  • New omega raids
    • Bronze and silver emblems are available from the grand bounty of Nightmare raid battles. Get three Omega Keys from collecting each emblem type. Clear the Nightmare difficulty raid battles to challenge the Omega Raid!
  • Keep playing to steadily get stronger
    • Clearing raid-event quests will give buffs called Raid Boosts. There will be several, ranging from increasing HP and strength, to Rare Raid Boosts!
• Change background music on home page
  • First anniversary music will be available 26 September 2019 6:00AM UTC to 17 October 2019 5:59AM UTC
  • Bokurano Network, Cinderella Step and Haikei-Goodbye-Sayonara are likely to be available too
• New item to complete facility construction immediately
  • New item: Hustle Hammer
• Restore stamina at the castle grounds
  • Tap the Halidom to get Honey Tea. It will be periodically produced like fruit from the dragontree and rupies from the mines

NEW PLAYER BONUS

Clearing chapter 1 / 4-6 after 26 September 2019 6:00AM UTC, the Castle Grounds and Dragon’s Roost tutorials and new players will only need to construct and level up facilities in half the time for 30 days! Clearing it by 26 September 2019 5:59AM UTC will not apply these bonuses.

Last but not least, a preview into future updates from director Yuji Okada! There’s plenty to cover, so strap right in!

• Advanced Dragon Trials
  • Expert and Master difficulties in October
    • Dragon behaviour changes slightly in Master
  • New materials for new weapons (High Dragon weapons)
    • Players need to have already made several 5★ weapons
    • New weapons have 2 tiers, stronger than current 5★ weapons
  • Expert difficulty is always available. Element of Master difficulty rotates weekly
  • Time attack rankings to Expert High Dragon trials
• 6th Tier mana circles
  • Parameters, skills and abilities will be upgraded
  • Adventurers will gradually get their 6th tier unbinds
• New bosses more difficult than High Dragons in development
  • Are not dragons!

These updates will be rolled out within this year.
