We got a chance to play the English demo build for Doraemon Story of Seasons last week! You can check out our video below
From what we can see, the names will be using the American localisation, so you’ll be seeing Nobita as “Noby”, Shizuka as “Sue”, and so forth.
It being a demo build, features are understandably limited. What we have now is a farm that Noby inherits, full of unwanted trees, rocks and such that we need to clear. Different tools will be required for the various tasks ahead. Early game farming is somewhat tedious, but we believe we can access better tools or skills later in the game.
We can catch bugs in the game. Different times means different bugs. Fishing is also possible, with different areas to throw a line into. Almost all caught items have a star rarity. Taken from other Story of Season games, we can gift the residents with items. The demo only allowed one gift per resident per day. Getting married is not possible in this game, with Noby being too young along with marrying Sue in the story. Relationship values are still present, however.
Noby will get sent to the clinic if he gets too tired. You do have the ability to sleep anywhere in the demo, though.
