The Monster Hunter movie was confirmed back in 2016, which will see Resident Evil movie director Paul W. S. Anderson in charge. Details on the project remained sparse until we were provided with some information on its plot and some teaser images. The movie is being shot with a budget of USD 60mn, with Milla Jovovich starring as its main character.

Sony Pictures has just confirmed that the movie will be out on 4 September 2020, or about two years after it began filming. Deadline breaks down what we can expect from it.
