SEGA announced that RGG Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven will be showcased at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show held at Makuhari Messe. The historical crime drama and action-adventure game will have its own booth in Hall 4 N01, filled with exciting new details and things to do available from September 17 to 21. 

First and foremost, fans will get the chance to test out the game’s combat in a version that hasn’t been shown yet.

SEGA is also keen on letting players into the world-building of Stranger Than Heaven. The Tokyo-based developers revealed that its booth will feature a Theater that will show three never-before-seen musical performances, each one featuring a different character. An immersive exhibition featuring the five different eras shown in the game’s trailers is also expected from the booth. These eras have been confirmed in a reveal trailer to be 1915 Fukoka, 1929 Hiroshima, 1943 Osaka, 1951 Shizuoka, and 1965 Tokyo.

The developers are going to be present throughout the five-day event, hosting live talk shows featuring mystery special guests. Lucky players will also get the chance to try out the combat demo on stage.

SEGA will be giving away Stranger Than Heaven-themed freebies as well, including hand fans, analog stick covers, and lanyards. Meanwhile, exclusive merch including pins, shirts, vinyl record coasters, clear resin class rings, and plastic files will be available for purchase. The store will be at Hall 11, W03 at Makuhari Messe, available across the five days of the event.

With Stranger Than Heaven nearing its January 15 release date, its TGS booth may give fans the most accurate expectations of what RGG Studio has been cooking up. Between live musical shows, demos, and an interactive museum, their booth may steal the show.
