MSI took the stage at Computex 2026 to introduce the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, its first laptop built in partnership with NVIDIA and powered by the new NVIDIA RTX Spark platform. The device marks a new direction for MSI as it pushes into the premium thin-and-light segment with a focus on AI, creative work, and gaming all in one machine.
The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is a 2-in-1 laptop, meaning it can switch between laptop, tablet, tent, and presentation modes depending on what the user needs. At its core is the NVIDIA RTX Spark, a platform built to bring NVIDIA’s full AI stack and RTX technology suite into slimmer devices without sacrificing battery life. The laptop carries a 99.9Wh battery, which is close to the maximum allowed for air travel, making it a practical pick for people who work on the go.
On the display side, MSI went with a 16-inch UHD+ Tandem OLED panel. What makes this screen stand out is its dual-layer structure, which stacks two OLED layers together to push brightness above 1000 nits while also improving how long the display lasts over time. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, is Calman Verified, and hits a Delta E of less than 1, which are numbers that matter a lot for creators doing color-sensitive work. The display also supports variable refresh rate (VRR), which helps keep visuals smooth whether you are gaming, editing video, or just watching content.
For input, the laptop includes touch and pen support via the MSI Nano Pen, a lightweight stylus that tucks away underneath the device for easy storage. There is also the MSI Action Touchpad, which supports customizable gesture controls to help users move through their workflow faster. A quad-speaker setup rounds out the multimedia experience.
The RTX Spark platform is designed to handle a wide range of tasks including local AI workloads, large language models, generative AI applications, content creation, and RTX gaming. MSI says the combination of performance and efficiency was a key goal, allowing the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ to deliver on multiple fronts without becoming bulky or power-hungry.
The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is aimed at creators, developers, and gamers looking for a single versatile device that does not compromise on performance or portability.
