Persona 4 Revival has been rated by the ESRB, with the rating now visible on the game’s official store pages, including the Microsoft Store. The rating arrives ahead of Summer Game Fest 2026 week, which includes the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7. No official release date has been announced at this time. This is not the first time the game has passed through a ratings board. Back in May, Persona 4 Revival was also rated in South Korea, appearing alongside other upcoming titles such as Gears of War: E-Day and ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE.
Persona 4 Revival is described as a remake of the classic RPG, set in the rural Japanese town of Inaba. The story follows a high school student who gets caught up in a series of mysterious murders, while rumors spread about a strange TV channel that only appears on rainy nights. Players will explore this mystery while also managing everyday life, including school, club activities, part-time jobs, and building relationships with other characters. Combat is turn-based, with players collecting and using different Personas, targeting enemy weaknesses, and teaming up for combined attacks called All-Out Attacks.
The game is currently available to wishlist on PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store, and PC via Steam. Persona 4 Revival will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
