Bandai Namco has officially revealed Yujiro Hanma as the fourth and final downloadable character for TEKKEN 8’s Season 3 lineup. The character comes from the long-running martial arts manga and anime series Baki the Grappler, which has been running since 1991. Yujiro is set to arrive in early 2027 on all platforms where TEKKEN 8 is currently available, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
Within the Baki franchise, Yujiro Hanma is widely known as “The Strongest Creature on Earth.” He is the father of the series’ main character, Baki, and serves as the ultimate antagonist throughout the story. He is recognized for his overwhelming physical strength, his mastery of martial arts, and his signature “Demon Back” transformation. In terms of the story, he essentially functions as the final boss of the entire series.

Yujiro joins three other characters in TEKKEN 8’s Season 3 DLC lineup. Kunimitsu is scheduled to release on May 27, making her the first of the group to arrive. Bob is coming later in the summer, while Roger Jr. is expected to follow in autumn. Yujiro will round out the season with his early 2027 release.
Guest fighters from outside the TEKKEN universe are nothing new for the series, but Yujiro Hanma marks a notable crossover given the distinct style and tone of the Baki franchise. Previous guest additions in Season 1 included Clive from Final Fantasy 16. No gameplay footage or in-game visuals for Yujiro have been shared yet.
