Developer FuturLab has confirmed that the free crossover DLC packs inspired by Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy VII will be removed from PowerWash Simulator storefront listings starting May 19, 2026. The affected content includes the Tomb Raider Special Pack and the Final Fantasy VII Midgar Special Pack, both of which have been available as free post-launch additions for players across platforms.
According to the developer, the delisting will take place at 10:00 AM ET / 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 PM MYT on the scheduled date. However, players who download the DLC before the deadline will continue to retain full access to the content even after it is removed from digital storefronts. This ensures existing owners can still revisit the themed cleaning locations without interruption.

Delisting Marks the End of Square Enix Collaboration

The removal of these crossover packs also signals the formal conclusion of PowerWash Simulator’s collaboration with publisher Square Enix, which is expected to wrap up officially in June 2026. Both DLC packs were released as part of a broader partnership that brought iconic environments from Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy VII into the relaxing cleaning simulation experience.
These crossover stages allowed players to pressure-wash recognizable locations inspired by the two franchises, adding variety and fan-service appeal beyond the game’s original setting of Muckingham. As a result, the packs quickly became some of the most memorable free updates released for the title.
What Players Should Know Before the Deadline

Players who have not yet claimed the DLC are encouraged to do so before the May 19 cutoff date. Once removed, the content will no longer be available for new downloads through official storefront channels. Nevertheless, those who already added the packs to their libraries will not lose access.
Importantly, this change affects availability only. It does not impact the base game itself or any previously downloaded expansion content tied to player accounts.
About PowerWash Simulator

PowerWash Simulator blends simple cleaning mechanics with a surprisingly engaging sense of progression and environmental storytelling. Players take on contracts across the fictional town of Muckingham, restoring vehicles, buildings, playgrounds, and unusual structures using an expanding set of tools and attachments.
While the gameplay focuses on methodical pressure-washing tasks, the title also includes subtle narrative elements revealed through job descriptions, notes, and environmental details scattered throughout each assignment. This layered approach helped the game stand out within the simulation genre and contributed to its long-term popularity.

PowerWash Simulator is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players interested in the crossover DLC packs still have time to claim them before they are permanently delisted next month.
