Infinity Nikki Version 2.4: The Forest Need Not Listen officially launched on March 27, introducing a major content update that expands the story of Itzaland and the mysterious Elderwood Forest. Version 2.4 continues the aftermath of Itzaland’s purification from Dark Miasma. While much of the corruption has been cleared, lingering traces remain deep within the Elderwood Forest, setting the stage for the update’s central storyline.

The featured exclusive quest, The Forest Need Not Listen, follows Nikki as she ventures deeper into the woodland region to uncover hidden truths surrounding its lingering darkness. Completing the quest rewards players with the clothing pieces Top: Hunting the Truth, Socks: Untamed Forest, Diamonds, collectible cards, and upgrade materials.

Another narrative highlight arriving later in the update cycle is Courage in Full Bloom, unlocking on April 10, where players investigate the return of the legendary Three Mighty Shroomlings. Completing the quest grants outfit sketches, Resonite Crystals, Diamonds, and the new Battle Companion Domibaba.

Momo Receives a Major Gameplay Upgrade

One of the most notable permanent additions in Version 2.4 is the new quest Momo, Grow Stronger!, which transforms Nikki’s longtime companion into an active combat-support partner.

Completing this quest unlocks Momo’s Cloak: Battle Will and activates the Momo Growth system through Pear-Pal, allowing players to improve his combat capabilities. This marks a meaningful shift in gameplay, strengthening companion mechanics beyond their previous supporting role.

New Limited-Time Outfits Headline the Update

Version 2.4 introduces several new outfits across multiple rarity tiers, including a standout 5-star outfit, She Is Wildfire, built around the Cool attribute. The outfit includes the ability Hunting Elegy: Battle Companion, which summons the Moon-Hunting Wolf to assist Nikki in battle scenarios within Itzaland.

The outfit also evolves across multiple upgrade stages, unlocking new poses, animations, makeup options, framed items, and enhanced visual effects as players progress through its evolution path.

Joining it is the 4-star outfit Heart of the Deep Forest, aligned with the Elegant attribute and featuring the ability Untamed Freedom: Whimsicality, reinforcing the forest-themed identity of the update.

Meanwhile, players can earn the free 3-star outfit Pinecone Encounter through the Mistwood Night Walk event by completing rotating task sets and collecting Deepwood Lamps.

Returning Outfit Events Make a Comeback

Two fan-favorite outfit banners are returning in Version 2.4 as part of a limited-time rerun event: Starlit Wishfin and Time of Serenity.

These reruns allow players another opportunity to obtain the outfits Daughter of the Lake and Dream Banquet, both of which feature unique abilities and cosmetic evolution paths. Daughter of the Lake introduces a special visual effect where scales appear on Nikki’s skin when interacting with water, while Dream Banquet enables the summoning of an elegant tea table through its Whimsicality ability.

New Permanent Features Expand Customization and Progression

Beyond quests and outfits, Version 2.4 introduces two permanent gameplay systems designed to expand player interaction and progression flexibility.

Completing Toward Greater Glory! unlocks the Snail Beauty Salon, a new location where players can customize and improve their snail companions. Finishing the follow-up quest I Want to Learn Styling! unlocks the Path of Practice, a feature that allows players to recruit partners and begin structured styling journeys.

Together, these systems add long-term progression goals beyond the update’s temporary events.

Dreamland Showcase Furniture Arrives With Weekly Rewards

Version 2.4 also introduces the Dreamland Showcase: Tidal Murmurs furniture collection. Players can earn Dreamland Stones through weekly Chronicle Tasks and exchange them for themed furniture pieces and Diamonds.

Additionally, signing the Dreamland Pact grants immediate access to the Starsilk Tide Display Cabinet, with the Stellarite cost refundable once players accumulate enough Dreamland Stones during the event phase.
