A rating for an unannounced version of Devil May Cry 5 has appeared through the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, listing a title called Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition for Nintendo Switch 2. No official announcement has been made by Capcom at this time.
Game ratings boards have become a common source of early information on unannounced titles. Just a day before this surfaced, a listing for Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition was also spotted through a similar classification.

Devil May Cry 5 originally launched on March 8, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It later received a Special Edition, which came to Xbox Series on November 10, 2020 and PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020. That version added Vergil as a playable character, along with Legendary Dark Knight mode, Turbo mode, and other extras. If the Switch 2 version does push through, it would mark the first time the game has ever appeared on a Nintendo platform.
The rating does not go into detail about what the Devil Hunter Edition name actually includes, so it is not known whether it will bring any new content beyond what was in previous releases.

Capcom has been one of the more active third-party publishers on Switch 2. The company was present at the console’s launch with Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and recently released Resident Evil Requiem on Switch 2 on the same day as other platforms.
